Neck Mechanism ball and socket

Printed ball and socket connection. This is to move the head around from a servo horn

Works a treat.

Torso and Head update

Upper torso frame and neck assembly almost completed. The black section of the robot controls the rotation of the neck. The topmost peice is set to hold 3 servos that will mount to the head. I’m really happy with the gears you see there. They are both the same, designed to be dual purpose and has space for an M8 nut or a servo horn.

Robot Biped update

And here is the design so far. The goal is to print as much of this 1:1 scale humanoid robot as possible. Th only rules broken so far are the aluminium extrusions, but they can be printed too!
